The bottom station / La gare basse The bottom station is located at Montfort which is part of the village of Lumbin. The station is set back from the main road Grenoble- Chambéry. La gare inférieure est située à Montfort qui fait partie de la commune de Lumbin. La gare est quelque peu en retrait par rapport à la route Grenoble-Chambéry.   The building is unchanged since the inauguration in 1924. Le bâtiment a gardé le même aspect que celui qu'il avait au moment de son inauguration en 1924.
