Description

The Rothenbrunnen power station is part of the Kraftwerke Zervreila AG which produces electricity with the waters of the Valser and Safien valley.
The Rothenbrunnen power station is located in the Hinterrhein valley on the Rhätische Bahn Albula line.
The cable incline railway, which is all along the pipeline, seems to be not used for a long time. Le track is passing under the Chur-Thusis-San Bernardino Pass road and is entering the power station with no gradient.
