Two of the most beautiful caves of France have been equipped with underground
inclined railways to facilitate the access and increase the number of visitors.
Other underground inclined railways in France:
- La Mine Bleue at Noyant-la-Gravoyère (Maine-et-Loire), an old slate quarry.
