Every body knows the 3 summits of the Berner Oberland, Eiger (3970m), Mönch (4099m) and Jungfrau (4158m), but who knows that all their glacier-waters are collected by the Trümmelbach funnel into 10 underground waterfalls.

Trümmelbach is located at some kilometers to the south of Lauterbrunnen.

These 10 waterfalls are all accessible by a footpath and stairs. But since 1912 an inclined underground elevator has been built to facilitate the visit.
