	Today the old monastry is a cantonal psychiatric clinic?

The Rheinau church burnt in 2004 a fex months after my visit!

Rheinau is located in a meander of the Rhine river. An hydraulic powerstation was built to exploit the difference of level of the Rhine loop. One main dam and two auxiliary dams were built. There are one boat lift for each dam. The boat lift of the main dam is the only one Swiss boat lift on the right bank of the Rhine river! In fact there is a little enclave of Switzerland on the right bank, just for the boat lift!
