Description

Toggenburg is one of the most beautiful area of Switzerland. This valley is at an altitude of 1,000 meters, wedged between two mountain chains: Säntis (2503m) and Churfirsten (2385m).
From Unterwasser you can access one the teeth of the Churfirsten chain, the Chäserrugg (2262m). First you must take the funicular to Iltios which was built in 1934. Then you must take the aerial cable way to the summit. From the Chäserrugg the point of view is marvellous to the Toggenburg, the Säntis, the Rhein valley, Austria, Liechtenstein, and Walenstadt and the lake of Walensee!
